Small Business Owners, Start Using Facebook Please
How many times have you heard a small business owner say they are avoiding Facebook? Or maybe you've heard, we haven't started using facebook for business yet because we don't think it fits with our target audience. I won't lie, that might be true. I would be willing to bet though, that in most cases, it'n not really.
I think in most cases, the small business executive or manager just hasn't spent time to learn the platform. I won't go on and on about why that's a bad move for most businesses. Instead, I would like to focus on the fact that Facebook, social media marketing, and web communications are real, and here to stay. Join the prosperity or take a seat on the sideline and watch the participants prosper.

Maybe it was a slow year for very influential and profound people. Or, maybe Mark Zuckerberg has truly created something that changes the way we communicate, and connect with people/businesses/non-profits online.
With his selection as 2010 person of the year, I really hope that the remaining doubters about social media and it's longevity will finally change their tune.
