Business After Hours Recap

First, we would like to thank everyone that came out to the business after hours to make it a huge success. We would also like to thank the other sponsors, Tortugas Restaurant and Benefit Concepts, Ltd.. Finally, we cannot forget to thank Ron Orris and the Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce!

Here's the Rundown

Attendance: There were roughly 80 attendees. We were expecting between 50-75, so we were extremely happy to hear that we exceeded our expectations. It was also great to see some new faces in the crowd that don't regularly attend the after hours. It appeared that the furthest traveler was Jim Andrews from Heil and Andrews Construction, a new home builder from Jamestown, NY. Thanks for making the trek Jim!

Margaritas: We went through 15 pitchers of margaritas. There was also champagne, not sure on the count for that. It seems as though everyone thoroughly enjoyed the beverages...and I concur, they were delicious.

Food: Chips and salsa, quesadillas, jalapeño poppers, and cookies. Lots of food was eaten and there were even leftovers to take home. We contemplated a jalapeño popper eating competition, but didn't think that would end well.

Networking Game: It appeared that everyone had fun with the networking game. It helped people introduce themselves to some new folks that they have never met. We ended up with 2 winning teams that had royal straights. Each team member got a gift certificate for Tortugas.

Door prizes: We want to think that everyone came just to talk to us and the other sponsors and attendees, but we know the truth...you came for the Kindles. It's ok, we understand. But if you did come to talk to us and couldn't find us through the crowds of people, feel free to let us know and we would be happy to meet up with you.

Kindle Door Prize WinnersThe winners of the Kindle were Timothy Roff with PA Career Link and Justin Parkes with the Olean Times Herald. We hope you guys enjoy them! Keep us up to date on what you are reading.

Overall we had a great time and couldn't ask for a much better turn out. We will be at the other business after hours to meet new people within the local business communities. If you didn't get a chance to chat or couldn't make it out to the after hours we'd love to sit down and speak with you...we could even discuss over margaritas! Check out the video:
